Pupil Leadership Team (PLT)
We have an active Pupil Leadership Team (PLT) to ensure that our children’s voices are represented in school policies and practices.
Upwell Academy Pupil Leadership Team (PLT) Promise
As members of the PLT, we have been chosen by the children of Upwell Academy. We promise to be the best role models we can be by:
- Living our Academy Values every day
- Working hard in our learning and always trying our best with presentation, independence, and home learning
- Being kind, helping others, and looking after our equipment and resources
- Coming to school regularly, so we can do our best and be someone others can count on
- Respecting our environment, including saving energy where we can
- Showing leadership in everything we do around the Academy
Our PLT Responsibilities
As part of our role, we will:
- Meet regularly with staff to share ideas and help improve our school
- Welcome and show visitors around the Academy when asked by the Senior Leadership Team (SLT)
- Help lead and support during assemblies
- Lead our House Teams during Sports Day
- Take on any other responsibilities given to us by the SLT
