The children enjoyed some great learning, and especially had fun taking turns with the hose, sitting in the fire engine and looking at all the different items the firefighters use. King's Lynn North fire station has a fire appliance staffed by wholetime duty system (WDS) firefighters. These are firefighters that are available with the fire appliance twenty-four hours, a day seven days a week working in teams, known as watches.
