This week we welcomed Major Anthony Gleave, who serves with the Royal Engineers. Major Gleave joined Reception Class pupils for a special exclusive meet and greet and led a whole school assembly for pupils from Reception to Year 6.
Major Gleave spoke about his career journey and his roles and responsibilities, giving pupils an opportunity to ask questions in an assembly which inspired us all. He embodied our TEAM ACE Values empowering pupils to care about their education and motivating them about the curriculum through his own experiences and travelling the world.
We’d like to thank Major Gleave again and look forward to his planned future visit to speak to our upper Key Stage pupils and to inspire Year 6 further with their history curriculum: World War.
