As part of Year 3 DT Food Technology, they have been exploring pizzas, discovering what a variety of toppings and bases look like, taste like and feel like. They had the challenge of designing and making their pizza to meet a design brief.

Celebrating Chinese New Year in Cygnet Class has been an exciting experience! Our home corner has transformed into a Chinese takeaway, where the children have been integrating writing by taking customer orders.

ZooLab's cross-curricular workshops use enquiry-based learning to align with our educational objectives and promote a growth mindset in our pupils. Our Reception Class, Year 1 and Year 5 children were involved in the three separate curriculum-specific sessions, where they were introduced to the unusual visitors, including an Australian tree frog and a fully grown corn snake.
We have successfully embedded regular opportunities for our parents and carers to join us and one which has been extremely positively received is invites to our weekly Celebration Assemblies, which we have been doing for almost a full year!
