This event will take place between 10:00am and 3:00pm on 20/04/2024
Nelson Academy is holding their annual Earth Day Festival on Saturday, April 20th from 10am-3pm. As part of Earth Day, we want to educate people about conservation and sustainability, but we feel to encourage this we need to nurture people's love of the outside world. So this year we want to combine focus on environmentalism along with family-friendly outdoor activities.
Groups that have confirmed their attendance:
Bexwell Army Cadets
Ramblers Association
Swift
FenSong
The Tree Council
Representatives from West Norfolk and King's Lynn Council Waste and Energy Departments
Wise Green Energy Limited

The Mayor and Dr Roz Wade from the Cambridge Zoology Museum will be special guests. The festival will have games, storytelling, paper clay making, pond dipping, crafts, a raffle, eco demonstrations, and much more. Refreshments will be available for purchase with a discount on hot drinks if you bring your own cup.
We hope that you can join us at some point throughout the day.
