Upwell Academy

We are pleased to introduce you to Upwell Academy, a proud member of the Eastern Multi-Academy Trust. Our school provides a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for boys and girls aged 4 to 11, spanning Reception through to Year 6.

Established in 1878, Upwell Academy blends rich heritage with modern facilities. The original schoolhouse continues to serve as our entrance lobby, administrative offices, and staff room. In 2006, a new hall was constructed, and the former hall was repurposed into a classroom and library. The removal of a mobile classroom has enhanced our outdoor space.  Most recently, two additional classrooms have been added, offering an excellent learning environment for upper Key Stage 2 pupils.

Our school grounds feature a dedicated playing field, sensory and maths gardens, a 'Big Red Bus', and a riverside learning area—all designed to enrich the curriculum and inspire curiosity.
